How do I register my child and what must I provide?

All registration take place at the assigned school and families must provide: *Child's Birth Certificate * Immunization or Shot Records * School Transcript Information or Past Grade Card
*IEP for Students with Special Needs (if applicable) *Custody Papers (if applicable)

Where can i Find a school supply list?

School supply list for your students can be found in the student handbook and the school office or the docs section of the website.

What are the age requirements for kindergarten enrollment?

   
Youngtown Public Charter School offers full-day, every-day kindergarten on a limited basis. Children must be five years of age on or before September 1st to enroll in kindergarten. Call the Youngtown Public Charter School Office at (623)974-0355 for additional information.

What are free and reduced meals?

Some of our children are eligible to recieve free or reduced meals through National Schools Lunch Program. In order to recieve this benefit, eligible students must complete and return the application for Free-and Reduced-Price Meals. You are eligible to apply for benefits any time your income changes. Forms are available at the school office.

Where can I get information about bus routes?

Does youngtown public charter school offer a preschool program ?

 
Youngtown Public Charter School does not offer a preschool program, however, we partner with New Joy Preschool where a program is provided for children between the ages of three and five. To learn tuition costs for typically developing children, please call the Preschool Supervisor at (623)977-0598.
